I've been obsessively busy lately with my multitude of "hobbies." I come home from work and sit on my bed practicing guitar for about an hour. Then it's sketching and online research time. Then we have either book stitching, wax melting, or some clay molding/ wire bending/ sand papering/ cooking activity.
This takes up most of my evening, then it's play with the cats and try to convince the boyfriend to turn the TV off so I can go to bed. Needless to say, I have the beat-up, scratched, and clawed hands of a middle-aged farmer.

Things I love - Egyptian Art

I have always loved Egyptian art and lore. Ancient Egyptian relief sculpture is a particular favorite of mine. There's just something about the way these images pop out at you from the narrow, flat plane of the rock.
